After the happiness he felt watching his sibling be called up and be assigned to a warrior that Orangeblossom felt confident would follow through on training he didn't think anything could really go wrong from there. Of course, it's whenever you think that is when things start, not just going downhill, but snowballing down hill. It started nice, and more positive things a new warrior in the ranks. Crowpaw, not an apprentice that he himself was familiar with outside of what happened at the last gathering, and sure it was a little weird to request a certain name right at your naming but whatever. It was whatever. Then Redhawk cut in about a Riverclan warrior. Oh...oh stars. Things erupted from there. Though he took notice of Springlight's mutter before it all went down it didn't fully process until she was speaking words to the disgraced apprentice-now-kit. And while he wanted to give his own thoughts to the apprentice everyone beat him to it and put it much better than he would've not thinking it through in his anger. How could one just abandon their family, siblings, and claim in the same breath that he was returning to the only one he had ever known and then claim that he cared about the family he was abandoning while turning to her near murderers.

This whole situation was messed up that was for sure and he was happy that Thrushkit left while he could because Orangeblossom almost launched himself at them right then and there. He couldn't imagine leaving his siblings ever, never ever ever. They meant more than the world to him, he would die before leaving them on their own. And to Riverclan of all clans, why Riverclan...he sighed, Thrushkit was gone so no point in holding onto the anger. He turned to Springlight with a tired expression, "Just one meeting without bad news or events, all I ask for. But perhaps it's better we lost him now before he could use Thunderclan one last time, you know... I just, I couldn't imagine ever leaving my siblings like that." He offered and then his leader was speaking again so he quieted and listened until she finished. Then just like that the meeting was over and Orangeblossom was more than tired. He let out one more sigh, this was suppose to be a happy day for Vixenpaw, but oh stars. He would need to check in with him and make sure she was doing alright and he offered an apologetic glance to Springlight, once more their meeting chat has gone to shambles and cut short but such was life in the end. "I want to check in with Vixenpaw and see if he's doing alright and also Bluepaw, I'll see you soon then." He offered a small smile compared to his usual wide, full teeth ones, and waited for her last words before padding off to find his sibling.
