The chilly air of a late night greenleaf hit the molly, although in her current state it was hard to notice. Every part of her body and mind was making the intentional choice to leave the territory, but it almost felt like she didn’t have any sort of autonomy right now. Softsky didn’t want to leave, but she had to at this rate, life just didn’t feel like life anymore and she knew that if she wanted to feel like she was alive again. . .she’d have to do some soul searching.
A scent hit her, it certainly wasn’t one that was particularly familiar to her, and as she looked, she knew this place was not one she’d been to. Softsky sighed as she realized she was officially out of Thunderclan territory, she was doing this. This was going to be a long period of unknown time, it’d probably feel like an eternity to be honest, but maybe eternity would be okay if it meant she could go a day without her fight or flight response being on constant duty, yeah, it’d all be fine.
Her eyes noticed that a glimmer of light was coming from the horizon, the sun. It was rising, huh, typically that symbolized beginning, and it felt weird. . .it happened everyday and yet it felt so personal to her. Maybe it was, who knows, she wasn’t a grand hero in a story but, maybe that sunrise was meant for Softsky that day, it would give her some comfort in all this. Well, personal symbolism or not, she had to keep moving, and so, she did, into the sunrise she went.
This was the beginning of the end.
