He didn't expect to be grabbed the way he was. A yowl of surprise leaves his throat before he can stop it and he is indeed sent sprawling and scrambling, worming away from the larger tom to get back to his feet as quickly as he can. Once doing so he doesn't hesitate to pounce atop him to pin him down as best he can with his much smaller body and raise a paw to try and bring it down on the other's head.
