COPPERPAW

Thunderclan! That was him! Bleary-eyed, Copperpaw darted out of the apprentice’s den, rushing to find a good seat beneath Bumblystork. Yes yes yes! His first ever meeting. The tom settled near the middle of the group, looking around eagerly at the cats gathering. This was amazing.

Bright blue eyes watched in anticipation as battle-worn warriors and apprentices like himself appeared. He couldn’t wait to meet them all. And most of all, he couldn’t wait to meet his new mentor. His mother had told him that once he joined the clan Bumblystork would assign him a teacher. Someone to show him how to hunt! And right! Oh gosh he was going to be the best warrior ever! Of course, a part of him was sad that Springlight wasn’t here with him. He hadn’t even gotten the chance to meet her! Perhaps someone here knew her. Oh that was silly, everyone knew his auntie. He just needed to find someone to tell him stories…
