As more and more cats arrived near the Stormcrest, Snakefang was glad to have got here early and found a good spot. Now she was waiting for Bumblestar to speak, when she noticed a vaguely familiar apprentice coming to sit beside her. It took her a moment to remember her name…oh yes, Sunpaw! That’s right, Sunpaw had called her to join a hunting patrol out in the territory not long ago, which was great because she had nothing to do. She smiled as Sunpaw sat down beside her, asking if she was excited for the meeting. She wasn’t really, considering how it was so soon after another meeting which had awful news, but that wasn’t a fun answer at all.

"I am!" She responded, meeting the apprentice’s gaze. "A bit of good news hopefully. What about you? Are you excited for it?"

Oh, she had mixed feelings about the thought of another meeting so soon after the last one. Sunpaw couldn't dwell too much on it otherwise she would be cooped up in the apprentice's den. Plus if she knew one thing was that her big sis wouldn't want her to be lacking in her training because of her death. She also didn't want to worry her family too much if she was depressed or upset, she had to be strong. "Excited for sure, but.." Sunpaw for sure did not want to ruin the current mood going on right now, or at least she thinks there is one at the moment. That was what feeling she was getting from the other cat, they seemed happy and in some sort of good mood. Sunpaw wasn't about to ruin that with her tumbling thoughts.

Yet the more she thought on it the more she realized how wrong it was for her to hide her feelings. Sunpaw wasn't one to hide her feelings from anyone so why should she now? It wouldn't hurt her to say what she was thinking right now, especially since Bum had only called for a meeting nothing else yet. "It kinda feels all rushed after that last meeting" hopefully Snakefang wouldn't be put down on her negative thinking. Yet she did think that it all felt like big sis's death was pushed to the corner just to quickly replace open positions. "Maybe whatver Bumie has to say makes everyones moods ten times brighter!"
