Morningpaw smirked as his hit land and while he didn't expect Risingstorm to nod and then charge at Morningpaw, the apprentice was a quick thinker... most of the time... or at least that's what he would tell people if they ask about it. Because he certainly didn't just go limp in fright, no it was a tactical move that allowed Risingstorm's own momentum and size do the work for Morningpaw. After all the apprentice was 6 moons old, if Morningpaw simply allowed himself to go limp than it was more than likely that Risingstorm would just go flying tail over head over Morningpaw. HAH! If Risingstorm did overshoot then the apprentice would shuffle out of his paws and turn around, planning to pretend to snap his jaws over the warrior's neck, as a pretend show of a kill a pretend show of a win, if he could land it that is.
