hahaha!!! free at nighttime, at last! somehow, the stinker had slunk out of the nursery, flashy tail tucked safely to her flank to darken it, and bounded out into the clearing on bumbling paws.

however, past the obstacle of sneaking around, she found herself in the dark. the moonlight was slim, being only a crescent sliver in the starry sky. woah. she squinted and peered around, unused to the world being painted dark. the kit burbled quietly to herself and staggered around, snuffling at the ferns.

why is everything so big!!! she pounced at her faint shadow and rolled over onto her back. looking up, the distant, twinkling stars made her dizzy. she batted at the air and tried to claw one down. nope. no good.

sighing, she flopped to her side and blinked around at the clearing. "guh," she muttered. she squirmed and slithered around in the dirt.
