Upon the question of her preferences, the cat frowns. "You would be doing me a favor," she answers flatly, her crackly voice low. "I am in no place to be selective."

Then, she dips her head just slightly. "Thank you. I will not raise a claw against you."

The cat observes Strawberry as she draws closer, tensing for a moment before pushing herself to ease. "I have not thought of that in a very long time," she admits to Strawberry. Truthfully, remembering seemed painful. Something had happened, and happened for a very long time. The older cat was tired and in some way, reluctant to open her mind to those things she'd apparently left behind. Her lethargy, her dulled senses, and the wasted muscle of a forest cat used to a life of wilderness spoke volumes.

But when did she come to be out here, rousing in a cave in the middle of Stars-knows where?

"You can call me Nectar, though. That seems close enough."

Strawberry sat and listened carefully as the older molly seemed to blab on. Well thats what it sounded like to Strawberry at least. Strawberry's ginger tinged tail flicked upwards. "Alright, Nectar. I'm Strawberry." She meowed gently, "Thank you, I won't hurt you as well. Not selective hmm, alright. Give me a minute" Strawberry meowed, as the she-cat finished her mew, she leapt easily onto a tree branch, her eyes narrowed dangerously with focus as she growled deeply, scenting a bird. Strawberry stalked across the treetops until the found the sorce of her scent. Great a mother bird. Strawberry waited for a moment, thinking about her next move before deciding to chase it from the nest, worst thing that could happen is the babys or eggs fall. Strawberry stalked forward, her body visible on the skinny branch from below, her long claws razor sharp and wrapped around the branch carefully, soon enough. Strawberry leapt, as predicted the eggs fell to the ground, using her tail for balance Strawberry tumbled to the ground, the bird in her jaws as she painfully landed on her paws. Padding over to Nectar, Strawberry placed the plump bird. "Eat up, if you want more let me know" Strawberry purred.
