The arguing had already started by the time she had gotten there. Dustpoppy slunk out of the shadows, icy eyes flicking from each of the three toms in front of her. Her gaze snagged on their new subject: Fallownose. WindClan's former deputy... The shadowy she-cat canted her head, thoughts racing as she studied his starry form. Reincarnation? Into something new... something unfamiliar... something... easy. A life where you could run from your mistakes, where you could hide under the veil of a new life, new body, new identity. How... boring.

But her thoughts on it didn't matter, no no. What she wanted to know was why Fallownose thought he deserved this opportunity. Why he thought he deserved another chance to let down the clan who fractured under his leadership and shattered after his death. Poor, poor Twilightstar~ Dustpoppy didn't envy her in the slightest.

It seemed everyone had asked the same question she thought, so Dustpoppy decided to throw another log onto the pyre and watch it burn. Why not play devil's advocate? Would Fallownose own up to his uselessness? Or would he latch onto sympathy and use it as a shield? Dustpoppy liked to see how the cats begging for second chances reacted when confronted with the choice between truth or comfort. "Sickness of the mind is sickness of the body." She meowed quietly, rising to her full height on the other side of Barkblaze. "Shame you were killed before you could heal." Her unnervingly bright gaze never left Fallownose's. "Not your fault your mind deteriorated." The little smile she gave was too full of teeth to be comforting.
