Mumble laughed alongside the cat, jumping a bit as a bundle of grass got flung at them. They didn't mind having a friend, it was nice. Mumble playfully bounced after the cat, chasing him to his hiding spot and leaping at them, paws outstretched to try and playfully tackle him.

"No fair!" Fluffy squeaks in protest, tackled into the grassy ground. Mumble was much bigger than him, and that's why he was losing! It wasn't fair, it really wasn't!
Fluffy rolls around, trying to get Mumble off of him, planning his playful counterattack. He'll jump on top of Mumble, he thinks triumphantly, then he would win, and it wouldn't matter how big Mumble was!
The sun is going down, and Fluffy's starting to get hungry, but he doesn't notice- he's too busy having fun.
