Gullsight looked up at the entrance to Oceanstar and Mossfall's den. "Don't worry, Mossfall!" She called up to her. "I won't let anything happen to him!" She hoped to reassure the queen.

She then turned back to Oceanstar, ready to go. She nodded, holding her tail high in pride. "Let's get him!"

Currentstorm dipped his head. Turning to see his son and Bubblepaw approaching. He wasn't sure how he felt about his son taking part in this, but he knew Oceanstar wouldn't let anything happen.

"Papa!" Bubblepaw raced up to him. He touched noses with her. "You stay here and protect the camp." He meowed. Bubblepaw was clearly disappointed, but she'd need to get used to not getting things her way all the time. Currentstorm turned back to Oceanstar, standing proud and ready.

Bubblepaw pouted at her father and whimpered softly before running over to Shellsnap. "Please be careful okay?" She meowed, her eyes wide and pleading at Shellsnap. "I'll make sure to protect everyone here!"

Riptidepaw lifted his head and rose to his paws when he heard his name. He trotted over, surprised to be summoned to such a critical mission. He dipped his head at Oceanstar, his pelt bristling with anticipation.
