all thanks to me? no no, plummy is wrong! "all thanks to us!" egretkit corrects, grin widening. friends shared things, so they would share this accomplishment! she expects plumkit to respond, but instead she starts making a weird noise. hey, wait! she's heard this noise before! what's it called again?

"you're!! um..I forgot the word, but I've heard my papa do it before!" she quickly replies. she's a little confused, though. plumkit thought something was wrong with her because she's..whatever it's called. maybe she feels alone? figuring this must be the reason, egretkit attempts to mimic plumkit's purring. of course, it isn't natural, so it simply sounds like, "grrghmhhbrhhhh!" close enough.

she looks at the torture expectantly, head tilting in curiosity as she waits for plumkit to finish speaking. however, she never does. she simply reaches out and pats the tabby on the head before running off. "bye bye, plumkit!" she calls out, still beaming with joy. she doesn't think she's ever met a kit like plummy before – she sort of reminds her of a big cat in a way, with the way she acts. super cool!

a stray mossball takes her attention away from her new friend. with a giggle, she quickly bounces on the mossball, continuing on with her day.
