Freezekit shifted when the other kit didn't respond right away. He could feel her gaze on his pelt, and he was just now realizing that this kit was older than him. Maybe this was a mistake. Maybe he should just leave right now. But then I would never know! he thought, when the other kit finally spoke, interrupting his thoughts. Windkit. Cool. But when Windkit mentioned his eyes, he bristled. "Yes," he snapped. And then felt bad immediately after, as his sharp ears caught the quiet apology at the end. At least Windkit didn't call his eyes a sickness. And she did seem nicer than Whistlekit. "Sorry," he added a little roughly. He wasn't used to talking to other kits. Most of them just avoided him. Except for Pebble. But he didn't count, since he was his brother. "What are you doing?" He asked, anxious to change the subject. Except he realized that Windkit had only been laying there. He could not scent any moss or feathers she might've been playing with... Which means Windkit hadn't been doing anything. "I mean, obviously nothing exciting, as you seem to be just laying there, like I was laying in my nest, except it's your nest and--" He quickly snapped his jaws shut. Was I rude? he thought worriedly. In his hurry to assure Windkit that he could tell what she was doing, he had started blurting out things that might have been rude. Which made him furious. Why wouldn't his mouth obey his thoughts?? His tail tip twitched, annoyed.

Windkit's eyes widened slightly at the kit's sudden snappiness, almost regretting mentioning anything about his eyes in the fist place. But when the tom had apologised, Windkit couldn't help but feel bad.

"No, I'm sorry. I didn't think through it, sorry." Had she repeated 'sorry' twice? She paused, not sure what to say before Freezekit started speaking again. "Uh...?"

Windkit looked around, as if doing so would help her find out what she was doing. She shrugged. A pause. Windkit blinked. Could Freezekit even see?

She guessed not. She had never seen a cat like him. He confused her.

"I dunno, just, you know, waiting for something fun to happen! Or waiting for an opportunity to cause something fun to happen, ya know? For other kits to enjoy?" She smiled, suddenly getting ideas on how she would make such thing happen. "Maybe a warrior or an apprentice might come in here, we could use that chance to ask them a buncha stuff, maybe distract them! I don't think a warrior would be able to fight off a bunch of kits, what do ya think?"
