As the cat spoke and explained, Mumble was broken out of their fearful trance more and more as they thought about the cat's responses. They felt like they would be extremely anxious joining a big group of cats, but curiosity was getting the best of them, and they wanted to know how to join one of these groups. Y'know, if they ever wanted or needed to...
"Li- like what duties? What would I need to do? I-! I uh don't know if I would want to- uhh- join but I uh just wanna know!.." They asked before explaining themselves quickly, an awkward smile forming on their muzzle.
