She was skinny from her lack of eating. But there was no time to complain, she had a clan to guard. Slowly she padded around and looked at every cat that passed through, and padded to the entrance of the Leader's den but dared not go in. "Blazingstar?" she called, her voice a bit soft and weak, but still strong enough to not arouse worry. She made sure of it. As much as she'd like to say it, the stoic she-cat dared not complain of anything. That was not a leader's way. Blazingstar has not complained, Dapplestar had not complained. Why should I complain? she thought as she sat down and awaited for her leader to respond.

Blazingstar was napping. He had arrived back into camp with Surgestorm and was officially the leader, however this meant he had to assign a deputy that night. Blinking the sleep from his eyes, he let out a yawn and heard his name being called. Slowly the ginger tabby stood up and padded out of his den to be greeted by not only the faint sunshine, but by Nightwatcher. "Hello Nightwatcher, what brings you here?" he asked, giving his head a small tilt. It was obvious the new leader was tired, however he wouldn't sleep the day away, he had more important things to attend to first. After naming his deputy, he'd then go to sleep and know that things will have been sorted and worked out fine.
