"I'm doing just fine, don't worry about me." She said with a smile, sitting down and sighing softly at the relief on her paws.

"The kits have been quite playful recently. It's nice to think mine will have some friends to play with once they're here." she purred, starting to pass her tongue over one of her paws. "You like having them around then?"

Location: Camp

Patchleaf blinked in acknowledge and dipped his head slightly. "I-If you're sure, but please don't hesitate to ask if you need something." He meowed softly. The warrior was acutely aware that he was not...as gruff-sounding as some of the other males. He was always the softer of his kin, quiet and reserved. Like his mother. But it suited him fine, sure as an apprentice he had wished he was tougher but he was in no rush to change who he was now.

The black-and-white warrior nodded, a timid smile on his maw. "Y-Yes very much." He purred. "Kits are a blessing. They're a sign of a strong, growing clan sure but," his golden eyes flickered to the kits and back to the queen, "they also bring such happiness to the clan! They're so innocent, full of potential." His gaze turned back to the kits for a moment. "I-I'm sure your kits will be strong and out here playing with their denmates before you know it." He purred, hoping that wasn't out of line.
