Foghaze didn't seem all too impressed, and Nightshiver's smile soon turned a bit awkward. But she didn't hold it against him, he must merely be worried. She smiled hearing Pinekit admit to what he had done with his sister, and swiftly Nightshiver moved to pick the kitten up and place her back among her siblings.
"Well done... on telling... the truth."
She smiled at Pinekit, before levelling her gaze with Foghaze, still pleasant.
"I'm.. sorry. If that... worried.. you. Pinekit... hid her... while I bid... Echoshade.. farewell; I knew... where she... was. But I.. wanted... Pinekit... to tell.. me."
Nightshiver explained, briefly leaning down to check over the newborns again, and happy grin spreading seeing as they seemed to be doing fine. Well, the nursery was a warm place after all, there couldn't have been done any damage in such a short amount of time. And in all regards, she was happy Pinekit admitted to what he did. Honesty was an important trait.
"I hope... you can... forgive.. me."
The forever queen finally said.
