Adderstrike
“I can fix her!”
This was the second time that Adderstrike had come across the falling friend called snow. It was fascinating at how the forest could go from scorching hot to frigid. She couldn't pick which she preferred but there was a soft spot in her heart for the cooler days having been born around when the trees were orange. With how little cats talk about how the forest looks when the seasons pass, she swore the trees were meant to be orange forever! Now everything was turning white again.
A soft fog of breath escaped Adderstrike. Orange. Yeah that was gone now wasn't it. Uncomfortably, Adderstrike sat down and wrapped her tail over her paws to keep them warm. All the while she could feel the missing presence of someone. The snow was gentle and sweet. It reminded Adderstrike of what was missing.
