Re: ShadowClan Medicine Cats Applications
"Do you mean it?"
"Do you mean it?"
"Do you mean it?"
"WHY DON'T YOU MEAN IT?!"
Quietpaw
The Black Queen
You've never seen nothing like it no never in your life
Like going up to heaven and then coming back alive
Let me tell you all about it if the world will so allow it
Oh give me a little time to choose
Quietpaw has had an...eventful life so far, to say the least. One contrary to her namesake, full of shouting, and grief and, most of all, rage. The anger of family disputes had rubbed off on the once Ignorantly cold kit, morphing her into a more hateful and bitter soul. Most of her vulnerability she held in younger years has worn of and is guarded with defensive exterior. The stress of her world changing at every moment has caused her to become burdened by thoughts once sent to the nback of her mind, now she can often be found brooding in a dark corner of camp. However, her determination has strengthened, and she can now push through most challenges that come her way with relentless diligence.

The subject of Quietpaw's faith in Starclan is a complicated one indeed. They never cross her mind much but when they do, the most she does is criticise. Rather than see them as a powerful force of good or ignorant entities, she views them as powerless. The concept of them being wise and guiding baffles her, how can cats suddenly gain those traits just by dying? She views the living as the ones in charge and the spirits as those desperate to be remembered by acting all high and mighty. Though this might be a problem when communicating with Starclan, she'll take a more realisitc approach to problems and won't heavily rely on omens or signs and look at what's in front of her first, then take the best course of action in her eyes.

Despite her seemingly shy nature at first sight, Quietpaw can be quite fierce when provoked. A talent for cruel, mocking sarcasm has always been prominent, cutting into the very being of others, stripping them of their dignity and their confidence mercilessly. Her tongue is her main weapon, catching others off guard with the facade of her namesake. Another thing to add is that Quietpaw lacks fear and will tend to challlenge much larger or experienced cats than herself it she feels somewhat disrespected. Overall, she isn't scared to put others back in line or be particularly nasty if needed. Her authoritative demeanour can be intense sometimes which doesn't make her the best at soothing patient(especially with her lack of empathy as well) but she tends to be able to keep situations under control.
QnA!
Question 1: Roughly, how much medical knowledge do you hold?
"Why do you need to know? Ugh, I'm being forced to do this against my will so I suppose I have to answer you. As a kit I learned the very basics of poisons, death berries and deadly nightshade, yes, both related to death and surprisingly pleasant in appearance. I did recently attend a lesson on herbs but I was too tired to listen to most of it. As for physical injuries? I know that you need to clean any wounds to prevent infection. That's it, now go annoy someone else."
Question 2: How well would you be able to comfort or cooperate with others?
"What sort of question is that? If you're going to interrogate me then at least ask good questions. For comforting, depends whether they are complete rats and what I'm comforting the about. If they are just crying about stepping on a bug of tripping over a rock then I'll tell them to suck it up. What am I, they're mother? I'm not entirely certain about grief but I suppose I could offer...something. I'm pretty good at communicating, I believe. Oh, and cooperating? Same goes for that, is they're assholes then I myself will clamp their maw shut along with idiots. As long as they are responsible, smart and don't have a history of stupidity I'll give them a chance."
Question 3: When faced with a difficult choice, how would you proceed?
"What's with all these vague questions? Honestly, who made you a professional interviewer, because it's obvious no one in their right mind would think you qualify. Again, I need specifics if it was a life and death situation...I'd make sure I choose the right path of action that benefits everyone. I won't make exceptions for a single cat. As harsh as it may sound would you rather sacrifice one or have dozens die? Sometimes it's a choice we have to make"
