trailing behind mudslide, the warrior recites the herbs and their descriptions in her head. borage..small purple flowers, burdock..tall with a prickly thing on top, she notes. she frowns at the texture of cold mud underneath her paws as they travel further into the mire. mudslide is the first to break off from the group, and with a short glance at duskpaw, squirrelrise also goes in her own direction. considering she has offered help, she figures it'd be best if she hurried so she's able to tell duskpaw what exactly borage and burdock smell like.

approaching what she mistook as a potential herb, she frowns once she realizes it's only a simple weed. tail flicking, she peers around before padding to a new spot. searching around in the greenery, she keeps her eyes peeled for anything that matches the description of borage and burdock.

spotting something that resembles borage, her eyes light up and she hurries over. though, her excitement is short lived once she realizes that it looks like the plant has been completed squashed. by a cat or something else, she's not sure. what she is sure about, though, is that it's probably useless. and so, the search continues!

after a few moments of carefully searching, she finally finds a plant that matches the description of borage. lanky stem and purple flowers. she carefully breaks off the plants by the stem, firmly between her jaws. she blinks, lifting her head and glancing around the mire. deciding to continue on, she pads around darkwater mire. she has the borage, now she only needs burdock.

upon finding a plant that looks how burdock was described, she wastes no time lowering her head and plucking it. then, she looks around for duskpaw and approaches the apprentice, placing the herbs at her paws. "here ..you g-go..dus..." she trails off, unable to finish her sentence all the way. her maw felt very..tingly. oh no.
