As he stepped in, the stale scent of StormStar carried to his nose…soon it would be all OwlStars scent. He dipped his head respectfully to the new leader. “I wan’ed to say congrats…first…” Of course there was more, but he decided to start on a positive note. “I- I jus’ wanted to say tha’ if ya need any- any help or need some cat to do somethin’ I’m always available.” He felt useless, that was why. His blue gaze was on the leader…but it was pleading in a way. He had to prove himself again…do better. “I-I ge’ if ya can’t trust me after…TroutStream…but I- I wanted t’ say my inten’ wasn’ abandoning him- it- there wasn’ really…a good choose t’ make…” Even BerryShine said so…

The warrior gulped, suddenly feeling small as his gaze dropped to his paws…no. No. He wasn’t weak, and he couldn’t appear that way. He wouldn’t let himself fall that far. He picked his head up again, his gaze more firm and determined as he watched the leader and straightened his posture…something about her seemed…more familiar to him.
