”My mentor.. is.. Dandelionmane.. they’re nice..” Nettlepaw mumbled slowly, “I.. only have.. battling and.. tree-climbing.. left to.. learn.” they concluded, nudging Ashpaw who had resumed staring into space.
They flinched, “Oh- uh.. my mentor’s Echobarley! I like Echobarley. I have to share my mentor with Darkpaw, though. It’s fine. All I have to learn is tree-climbing, and get a territory tour. Very cool stuff.” Ashpaw rambled on and on, before quickly realising what they were doing, “Do you have an apprentice?”
