Well, it'd been a little while after Stormstar's passing. While it still didn't feel real, life had gone on, and Stagheart hoped he had allowed the newly-named Owlstar enough time to settle into things. He'd seen other warriors popping into her den, but had wanted to wait a bit. Still, this was a more urgent matter, considering the delay that'd already been in place regarding Daisypaw's training — so he figured now was as good a time as any to see how the new leader might want to continue things for the young she-cat. He wasn't quite sure how much Owlstar already knew about the situation, but he'd explain all he could; Stormstar had begrudgingly let Daisypaw stay in the Clan so long as she could keep getting progressively stronger. Berryshine had said things were looking that way, so as long as she thought so... he felt confident enough to try and start up training again. At least, with his leader's discretion, of course.
The battle-scarred tom padded up to the entrance of the leader's den, pausing at the lichen curtain. Last time he'd been in here, it'd been right after Stormstar had gotten her new name. His tail twitched as he cleared his throat and shuffled his large paws, making his presence known a moment before he spoke.
"Hey, uh, Owlstar... can I talk to ya for a moment?" His gruff voice was as polite as it could be, ears pricked for her reply and waiting to enter until he got a signal.

- - - Silhouettes obscured behind lichen, yet Owlstar could make up the general shape of Stagheart, if his voice wasn't confirmation enough. The leader was stirred awake from a farther light sleep, her good amber eye sliding open. Well, she could say bye-bye to sleep apparently.
The leader lifted herself from her bare den (stars above, she really needed to decorate this place. It didn't feel like a den... It felt like a casket) and turned her head towards the entrance, furred ears perking. "C'mon in, chap. What's eatin' ya?"

Uuauw. She wasn't sure how she ended up in the Leader's Den, but she did! Whoops! But now that she was here... What should she do? The kit squinted, trying to make out whatever was lurking inside the den, but failed. Ah, poo. Her eyesight was getting worse by the day. So instead she resorted to walking deeper into the den, which was pretty big! Wowww. Hopefully she didn't die in here! That would be very very baaaad.

- - - Owlstar couldn't see very well.
It was a fact, just by looking at her anycat could probably tell. But she had the nose of any good cat, and she knew the warm scent of the nursery like a second pelt. A kit. A kit was in her den, and it seemed they didn't even know it. Wow that was... Kind of concerning?
Not only that, as she looked at the small flurry of fluff, she noticed how oddly transparent her eyes looked, somewhat red and also violet? They almost looked glassy as well, like they weren't even real. And they were abnormally white with an odd red undertone. Owlstar had seen an albino squirrel before, she believed Wisteriawren had caught one. Was this kit an albino?
Also, who's kit was this? Oh, she was about to give somecat a stern talking to if they weren't looking after their kits, just letting them wander aimlessly (Owlstar was just being dramatic... Hopefully). Thank the stars they ended up here. "Aye hun, I think ya ended up a good few fox lengths away from yer kin." The leader teased. "Don't suppose ya 'ave somethin' ta tell me? I'm Owlstar by the way, nice ta meet cha."

' hey, owls? ' cobwebstorm poked her head into the leader's den, the pain from being injured in her dream earlier still pulsing in her veins, even though it hadn't carried over into the real world. she had checked, extensively.

- - - Owlstar's gaze followed the voice of the medicine cat, her head snapping into place as the herbalist got her attention. "Aye mate, whatcha doin' outside? C'mon in, it's been gettin' pretty bad out there." She gestured inside with a nod of her head.
The leader then laid down in a loaf, but the tensing of her muscles was hard to miss. The sting from her injuries only got worse in leaf-bare, and she couldn't shake the urge to scratch at her scars. So, she restrained herself, paws burried beneath mountains of fluff.
