He meowed softly as Whisperingpaw removed the bones- he had completely forgotten to do it himself. His eyes snapped to her paws when she shifted them nervously, and Streamkit purred louder, doing his best to comfort the apprentice's obvious nerves.
"Of course I'll keep sharing prey with you, Whisp. And we'll definitely train together!"
He didn't even realize he had called her Whisp until about 3 seconds later- the nickname had slid off his tongue so naturally, as if that was what he always called her. He shifted slightly and took a small chunk off the fish after it was handed to him, passing it back to his friend.
