Oh! Hi!! Mudhaze beamed at her and shuffled into the den, trying to act all nonchalant before he launched into his very AWESOME very EPIC speech about why he was the greatest! He took two paces forward, puffed his chest out, and threw his head back.
"I'm offering myself up as your next deputy!" he crowed.
"Because I'm GREAT and so very cool and you can totally trust me with literally anything because I WILL NOT screw it up!! And I'll fight anybody who does. YOU'RE awesome and I'M awesome and we can so be super awesome together! Best-friends-who-take-over-the-whole-forest AWESOME! YES!"
