greenapple, she/her, 46 moons
shadowclan warrior
a dappled ginger and black she-cat with bright green eyes.
So Emberpaw did not know how to hunt. That did make sense, the apprentice was especially young. She was still kit age, Greenapple was sure.
Greenapple dipped her head as well when Emberpaw asked to be taught, which was meant to be a
yes, though they might not've seen the motion. When Cloverpaw eventually joined them, Greenapple was happy to see the elder apprentice willing to share her knowledge. For a moment, the warrior was reminded of when she was in training herself... and a certain, younger tom-cat was always begging her for training. Even though he definitely had a mentor to go to.
...Greenapple silently huffed. It was time to patrol, not to reminisce.
The walk to Evergreen Grotto was uneventful. Before leaving to hunt with Mudslide, she momentarily stopped between Emberpaw and Cloverpaw. "If you need help, you can ask me," the she-cat murmured. She didn't want Cloverpaw to get in over her head with teaching an untrained apprentice. Though she wasn't going to take over, either. This would be good practice for Cloverpaw. She'd likely be a mentor herself one day.

(greenapple rolled an 18!)
(greenapple rolled a 12!)
Without straying far away from the apprentices, Greenapple took a few minutes to catch a big toad and salamander. Both of which she had to go searching for, as they were usually dormant in leafbare... but they were in a cave. It felt warmer farther in, maybe that's why they were in here. She was aware some cats didn't find toad to be that appetizing, but Greenapple never minded it.
Greenapple glanced towards Mudslide, who seemed to have caught a bird and mouse, and then back at Emberpaw and Cloverpaw. How were they doing?
