''Personally, I don't think he wants to become a warrior at all, Bumblestar. Whenever I took him out for his territory tour, I purposely stopped a few fox-lengths away from the scent line at Herondive Hollow to ensure his safety. You and I both know that Dawnstar's warriors can be vicious. Fleapaw got upset and started throwin' a hissy fit. I told him that we wouldn't move until he straightened up, and he never did, so I took him to Spiderthroat.''
''I figured that takin' him to his father would do somethin', but Spiderthroat didn't do nothin' about it,'' She sat back and wrapped her tail around her paws. ''I apologize if I seem like I'm givin' up on him, but I don't want to train a cat who refuses to cooperate with me. Poppypaw is younger than Fleapaw and she's not givin' Cormorantswoop any problems.''

The longer Silverleopard went on, the more Bumblestar's brows drew together in a scowl. Seriously? This was the issue to be had? The vole went ignored aside from a brief glance. There were cats who wanted it more than she did, she was sure.
"If Spiderthroat didn't see fit to take action, then 'm assumin' there wasn't any action that needed to be taken." She sat up fully, kneading her nest with her claws.
"'N unless Fleapaw himself comes t'me about a reassignment, 'm not movin' him. He's your apprentice. His disobedience is your problem to handle. Figure out how to work with him without shoulderin' him off to some other warrior."
