"It's not for me it's for Seapaw!" Salamanderpaw heaves, tugging and clawing at the ground angrily as wheels around to speak to—oh!—Owlstar about the issue. Briefly, she thinks that she should straighten up and try giving a levelheaded explanation, try being reasonable like a good warrior might...but she is far too irritated for any of that right now. "Someone's talking a bunch of stupid crud about how Seapaw can't fight and isn't gonna be a good warrior so first I'm gonna fix that and then me and Seapaw are gonna go pull the whiskers off of whoever started saying all that in the first place! Seapaw's going to be a great warrior, they're going to be a LIONHEART, so whatever idiot's spreading lies needs a good whack upside the head and a demotion for forever."

Even after saying it, she is much too distraught to feel silly or even remotely apologetic for this outburst. How could anyone doubt Seapaw? What is wrong with cats? And what is wrong with Seapaw!! That dummy, where's his pride! His rage!! Surely they've caught wind of this ugly rumor? She could cuff them for suffering this insult. She should.

Salamanderpaw sniffs bitterly, adding in a sulking tone: "Floodpaw and Crowpaw are getting talked about like that too. And it's not even fair 'cause Crowpaw's sister straight up died and Floodpaw was like, not even here for forever, so it's okay if they suck right now but it's not okay to talk about it and not even do anything to help!" She punctuates her ire with another frustrated stomp. "I need every warrior possible to help Seapaw right now. And then probably they should help Crowpaw and Floodpaw. I don't know. But something has to happen or else I'M gonna be the bear that mauls someone!!"

Puff-puff-puff. A very distant part of her is frustrated that she doesn't know—or isn't patient enough for—a better way to address this than the Stomp Out Into The Open And Start Shrieking About It way, but that frustration is nothing compared to the indignation she feels on the behalf of her peers and littermate. And anyway, she likes yelling. It lets the anger wash right out.
