Yippie! “No freezin’ for this duckling today!” Take that, Leafbare. Go cry in the corner of the clearing and leave her alone. Who knew hounds could keep ducks away from the cold; and considering the size difference the two might as well be like a duck n’ hound duo! But if they’re fluffy, anything works as a heater. And the Quacky would rather have that! And she had a buddy to talk to. So it’s a win-win for her no matter which way you out it

Oh, another MOON??? Man, that’s like..waiting a whole year in apprentice time! I guess it’s warmer, but the snow not helping with anything. Quite the opposite” they’re only good for snowcats, and even then, the only snowthinhs Quackpaw makes are blobbed-shaped ducks. Let’s ignore that she really only knew ducks from description and never actually saw one. She’ll see one someday she’s sure of it. A duck would just be walkin’ around in Thunderclan and from some bird magic she’ll be able to tell it’s a duck instantly “more bugs come out in newleaf, riiight? Like, more beetles and caterpillars and butterflies roaming around?” If those guys wouldn’t try escaping she would’ve turn them into pets and buddies to bother. But urgh, that’d be bothersome to make happen. And oh yea, guess the flowers would make things look more interesting than..just..whatever was in leafbare
