They smiled at the compliment, giving a sheepish nod. Rowanlark took a moment to shake out their fur, preparing themself for the chill of the territory's icy air. Despite having a thick pelt, the warrior still felt the sting of the cold in their paw pads and ear tips, shivering slightly as they followed Minkvenom out into the territory. It was a lovely breath of fresh air being out of the camp regardless. Their paws were always itching to be up and moving, doing something worthwhile with their time, and they were thankful to Minkvenom for requesting their company.

"Lead the way," Rowanlark meowed after emerging into the territory, gaze briefly scanning the area before coming to focus on the other warrior once more, "I'm sure there's somewhere that hasn't been patrolled yet!"

"Surely..." Minkvenom agreed, eyes wandering away from Rowanlark and around the frozen world. Clear spires dangled from Thunderclan's mighty trees, their frozen surface twinkling like Starclan, if the dim light hit them right. For all the hardship and suffering Leaf-Bare brought, there was still a unique beauty to it all.
The warrior's black head turned again, long fur swaying as she did. Her nose wrinkled looking for a gap, a crisp puff of fog exiting with her huff. As much as she would have liked to be better than her clanmates, she had to admit they did a thorough job with their patrol.

"Ah, I don't think we're any good here. Should we head up a bit further? Or take a turn here?" The molly asked Rowanlark, crunching pawsteps coming to a halt in the powdered snow. It was only now that Minkvenom could feel the real cold of the area. She silently hoped that her clanmate would decide quickly, for the sake of their paw pads.
