Fogmask's eyes narrowed with suspicion. Looking at Spiderpaw she was nervous, cautious, and intentional with how she spoke. He figured they were probably lying.
"Don't worry." He comforted the pair. "Unlike some other warriors, I'm not quick to tell on apprentices for doing something wrong." He looked down at Spiderpaw as he spoke. "I can't say I believe Primroseadder, but I can't say for certain that she is lying either." He looked up to Primroseadder. "And you know that I won't scold her past a gentle warning, so there's no need to be so protective, even if you're with her. I was worried for her safety, nothing more." He was frustrated that Primroseadder felt the need to be so protective, especially against him, but he didn't want to dwell on that anymore.
"Anyway, what are you planning on doing?" He wanted the conversation to change to a more relaxed note. "Do you mind if I join you? I would enjoy the company!"
