Rosekit woke up in her nest, feeling a surge of panic until her ears could pick up the sound of nearby breathing. Her brothers were okay, Sparrowdad was likely out on a patrol, or otherwise busy. Sadly, she couldn’t keep him bundled away in the nursery with them, especially since they didn’t necessarily need a queen anymore at this point, so it would be a waste of resources to allow the tom to take on a queen role. Hence, why Rosekit hasn’t demanded it of her father yet. When they are apprentices it would be different. She would have more control, and by then she’ll have her flower guard… Rosekit needed to keep training so that she could be a proper leader of the guard.

“Pardon me?” The kitten walked up to the nearest warrior she spoted after making her way out of the nursery and calling over her shoulder where she was going to the rest of her litter, “Moonshadow, can you please teach me something? I’ve already practiced my hunting crouch with Tigerpelt,” After some bothering the tom into doing so, but she has been practicing in the nursery since. “Maybe some basic battling? Or defensive positions?” She was basically an apprentice’s age anyways, no harm in getting a headstart on her training, she would need it.
