Unless there was genuine aggression behind the attack / Flamekit was intentionally trying to remove Thistlekit's eye, at two moons during playfight, I don't believe blinding would have been possible, no. You are free to blind your kitten in other ways, however! A few possibilities off the top of my head would be early cataracts (albeit rare in kittens that young), head trauma or perhaps optic nerve disease. Or you can wait until your character is a little older, and have him go blind via injury then / during training, when cat claws are a bit more adept at piercing through skin and fur.
