Sunflowerpaw lay in the clearing, basking in a patch of warm sunlight. The sun's rays brought warmth to the ground and gradually warmed up the she-cat's fur after the morning's chill.

Noticing a cat who’d they’d seen before, Nettlepaw watched Sunflowerpaw for a moment, racking their brain to try and remember who she was. They remembered — this cat had come over and… sort of “defended” them when Dazecloud had been a bit off with them? It had caused a bit of a stir in the three, but it had ended okay.
Nettlepaw approached the she-cat quietly, sitting down a reasonable distance away from her, still looking like they wanted to talk but also trying not to discomfort the other apprentice. They had their shiny rock between their paws, holding it like a newly-hatching egg was between their calloused black pawpads.
They turned to Sunflowerpaw, “Uhm.. Hello, Sunflowerpaw. How are.. you today?” Nettlepaw asked slowly, a kind tone in their fragmented voice.
