Sunflowerpaw's amber eyes opened at the sound of pawsteps, announcing that a cat was approaching. The cat padding over to her was Nettlepaw, and she gave him a friendly blink. While she didn't know him all too well, she had interacted with him a couple of times.

''Hi,'' The she-cat purred in reply, pushing herself up into a sitting position. The massive apprentice wrapped her feathery tail around her paws. ''I'm doing well. Mountaintalon's supposed to be taking me out for my assessment soon. What about you?''

Nettlepaw gave Sunflowerpaw a small, lopsided smile, one half of their muzzle drooping as always.
“I’m.. doing alright. I actually.. did my assessment.. about a moon.. ago now. Good.. luck on yours.” they began softly, unsure if they’d continue or not.
They did anyway, tucking their shiny rock closer to their fluffy chest as they spoke.
“Uhm.. random.. question, sorry; do.. you like.. shiny rocks? I.. do.” they mumbled awkwardly. They wanted to show off their shiny rock SO BAD. They’d worked so hard to get it! It was so pretty — a normal grey rocky outside, but it seemed to have been cracked in half (they didn’t know where the other half was, of course), revealing a rich deep blue center. It was gorgeous, and Nettlepaw hoped that Sunflowerpaw wanted to see it.
