Other: I am not opposed if you guys want Sleepy + Silent to practices a sort of amputation on the tip of his tail? Up to y'all but could be because it was ripped off that the very end is crooked or peaking bone that's a risk for further infections and they can yeet it. He'd still have like 1/3 of his tail left though :P

Go ahead and post a starter! I'd be open to having them try to amputate the tail tip; since Sleepy hasn't ever done an amputation before, she will likely ask first / weigh the pros and cons with Sly, but hey, she'll have to amputate something eventually. Best to start small. Though, she might have to send out a quick supply patrol before they can start amputating.
