he was shuffling his paws in both anticipation and anxiety. he was finally going to be an apprentice alongside his siblings. rose dropped feathers in front of him, " oooh yeah! papa come help me put them in my fur!"
his smile dropped for a moment. " afterwards... can you take us to pops- poppy? we've kept him waiting for too long." his ears perked- his name was called! he was going to be an apprentice!
he padded forward, his blue eyes gazing up towards bumblestar, blue gaze glinting with pride.
