Rosepaw, yes paw, had a duty to the felines of Thunderclan. One that she was serious about upholding and that was, making sure that everyone was successful in their duty to Thunderclan and important still, to make sure her felines are doing well. Both of these failed on a certain cat, one she had to drag into being a proper there for her own ceremony. A concern. Hollypaw- and sureeee, maybe she had told the very same cat to scram for making Poppykit’s passing about her- but in Rosepaw’s defense!!

She was running on emotions and none of them were good. Her brother had died suddenly, and even now thinking about it made her want to question everything. What she could’ve done- why she hadn’t noticed something wrong- why no one noticed anything. Rosepaw took a deep breath, fixing up her nest. It was early, about when the sun was just coming up and her ears caught the dawn patrol- sadly, it didn’t hold her name. Brackenclaw. She would be corralling the hornet into action swiftly.

Before then was her first morning of correction. “Hollypaw?” Her eyes scanned the nests of the apprentice den, and spotted the light colored she. The russet tabby padded over and nudged the cold of her nose against Hollypaw’s ears to wake her. If it was clear that Hollypaw was waking, Rosepaw would continue, “Come on, today I’ll be showing you what I know of hunting. It’s important for you to know early in your training.” and Hollypaw had no time to waste after being so late to the apprentice rank.

After receiving any reply, Rosepaw turned and started out into the clearing and waited, eyes on the threshold of the apprentice den for Hollypaw’s form. Which better follow swiftly, else it may be off with her head. ( Read: a scolding and a light cuff of the ears ( perhaps even an assigned punishment should Rosepaw feel so bold as to do so. ))
