Rosepaw padded into the Warriors’ den before the sun even properly rose, the practice of getting up early in her later nursery days working out just in her favor. Her mentor hadn’t been called onto any patrols so the likely answer to his whereabouts was here. The apprentice- apprentice, she couldn’t help but internally squeal in delight at the title- scanned the sleepy bodies and winced at how many were wasting daylight.
Strange. He wasn’t here- or he was so far back into the den that she couldn’t spot him. Where else would he be? Surely not slacking off somewhere because if he was, oohhhh would Rosepaw have some choice words for him. The russet tabby stepped back out of the warriors den, right outside of the threshold, only to spot the very same giant tabby that she was searching for. Near the prey pile. At least she didn’t need to worry about waking him up on time in the morning.
She made her way over, “Brackenclaw, we need to begin training. I want to go on a territory tour first and review my hunting crouch and practice- if we have time, I would like the foundations of battle to be finished as well.” Which means if she wanted ample time on each section of her preplanned day, they needed to be out in the territory sooner rather than later. Her patience was already lacking but her excitement made it shorter than normal.

Brackenclaw- He/Him, 26 moons old, Thunderclan Hornet. Purrks: Just a Scratch.
Brackenclaw had just got done hunting a mouse and dropping it off on the Prey Pile when Rosepaw had shown up practically vibrating with excitement. "I see. Though we won't be doing Battle Training not today. My stipulation is learning how to hunt the prey first. Warriors are there to protect the clan this is true but battle is only a small part of our job. Most of our job is keeping the clan fed. A hungry clan is a weak clan. Always remember that." Brackenclaw would explain hoping Rosepaw was listening and not just letting it in one ear and out the other. Brackenclaw would look towards the Camp entrance. "If we run into anything dangerous and I tell you to run do me a favor do just that! I don't think we will but it's always better to be safe than sorry." Brackenclaw added before standing up his massive shoulder muscles rippling while he did so. He'd motion with his head for Rosepaw to follow as he began toward the entrance.
