Doeflame
Doeflame listened as Lionsun said she'd take the role of defence, matching the warrior's smile with a grin of her own. That meant she was on offensive. Great; that was what she'd been hoping for. "Sounds good. And for the rest of the planning I reckon we just wing it. It's not like our opponents are going to follow along with any plans we have, after all." She had never put thought into planning for battles; they were just too unpredictable. This event was easier to plan for, as they knew the cats they would be facing, but it still probably wouldn't amount to much.
Doeflame glanced at Rookfire as he asked Tuftedtusk when he was going to start the meeting. Her brother responded with a nod, before telling the gathered cats to begin. "Let's do this," she said to Lionsun, before searching for their opponents in the crowd- only to see them already making their way towards them.
Hey, you two. Looks like you're up against us. You ready? "Absolutely," Doeflame said. The smile that had been present on her face widened to a grin, matching the Enforcer's. This was going to be fun. "You're going down," she told her as she shifted into a battle stance, keeping her eyes on Briarsplash- and Roachflare, too, if his position made it possible. If not, she'd have to rely on Lionsun to watch him.
Briarsplash didn't wait for her to make the first move. She leapt at her, swinging a paw at her head. Doeflame ducked to avoid the hit, then raced at her with her body still low to the ground, aiming to slam herself into the Enforcer's legs and unbalance her, if not knock her over. Out of the corner of her eye, she could see Lionsun attacking Briarsplash's flank; hopefully he'd also be able to keep Roachflare out of the way. It would be annoying if she was able to get Briarsplash down but not be able to pin her because she was being attacked.
