Slate padded into the ruins, bright eyes gleaming as his tail flicked, blinking through the ruins with ease.

O'leary grunted as he'd hear incoming footsteps. The gruff tom pivoted around from his spot near the turned-over bricks, curious as to see the source of the noise.
From the corners of his eyes he'd glimpse a sleek grayish tom, his gait swift and appearance presumably rouge. O'leary gritted his teeth, holding in his breath sharply. It was rare for cats to come here. Afterall, he wasn't quite sure why he was here himself. Praying the stranger had no intent of harm, he slithered further past the devastated lands in search of the cat who he had heard so scarcely.
