Gloomkit's life can be summed in three different parts.

Part I.
Gloomkit is young, and despite what her siblings may say, truly and deeply believes their mother loves them. She asks for her mother's attention and smiles at her at every turn. She wants to spend time with her mother, and wants to spend time with her siblings. She wants one big, happy family, and for the longest time believes they can be just that. She is quiet, often communicating in non-verbal ways, but speaks more as a kit than she does as an apprentice. This is an age of innocence and naivety; Gloomkit loves her family and believes they love her back, and will defend them regardless of what others say.

Part II.
Gloompaw is an apprentice. She is older, and she is wiser. Or should be wiser, at least; really, she is confused. She is being told her mother's ways aren't right, that they aren't healthy. She begins to regard everything from a distance. She is often called apathetic and cold. In truth, Gloompaw doesn't know how to act. She has to learn how to accept affection, has to learn in order to break the cycle that was created by her grandparents. But can she do that? Gloompaw is much like her name, gloomy. She still cares for her family deeply, but is unsure how to regard them now that she is older. She continues to go through the motions of being a daughter, but tries to find answers at the same time.

Part III.
Her name is Cirrus now. After everything, she decided to walk away. Sometimes she lingers by the border in the hopes of seeing her mother or siblings, wondering if she should come back. But in the meantime, she decided to leave, and experience a life away from the oppressive clan rules, life as a loner. Cirrus meets many different cats along her travels, and makes different experiences. She learns to form healthy bonds.

Or at least, this future and story is speculative - anything could change it.
