Before you can ask, I can guess the question you may have. Why have a few characters been cut from the poll? Simply put... points to the sign;

Nominations must include an explanation of why the character deserves recognition. Posts that do not provide a reasoning will be removed. Additionally, be thorough in your evaluation of the character. Vague or thoughtless statements (e.g. "they're cool") will result in your nomination being discarded. We want to know why you think this cat deserves attention!

Think of it like this -- if I were a completely new user who was not familiar with any of the nominated characters, I'd want to know about the character. Not how silly their posts are or how edible they look, guys!! What makes Fade who she is? I don't want to know how yummy she is, I don't want to know vaguely how nice her roleplayer's posts are, I want to know what her personality is like! I want to know all her fun backstory details. What has she done that's fun or interesting to mention lately? I want to know what she's going through, I want to know why you'd nominate HER of every single other... em, character. Sorry Fade, you've been turned into an OC for the time being.

* Barring this reason, there's also just the plain old, "A character who has won before may be nominated only after 6 months."
