A patrol had just been ambushed by Otters, right? That might be why the deputy was calling out rather than Bumblestar. The blue tabby sat down, feeling like a literal fish out of water.

Sunpaw had wondered when there would be a meeting, she couldn’t remember when the last one was called. Yet when she came crawling out of the apprentices den she laid eyes on spiderthroats appearance . He looked rough like he went through some sort of shredder but didn’t ask it out loud, It wasn't the time for it. Until he spoke again she glanced around at the growing crowd. The first one to gain her eye was a scarred to hell and back feline, either paw or kit. ”HI! I’m sunpaw, you must be new because I haven’t seen you around before! You sure have a lot of scars, what kind of battles have you been in? Oh you also smell like a certain fishy clan, is that where you came from? So you know how to swim like all of them do? Would you mind teaching me how to swim?! Oh that would be fun and you could cool off in the water when it’s hot outside!” they shot question after question. It came out of her mouth so fast it would leave others questioning if she even knew how to breathe.
