Pineblossom glanced at the otter in the center of the clearing, her emerald gaze sparkling with relief as the patrol slowly walked in after Spiderthroat. They would all have to see Treetiger for sure, but that was to be expected.

The large queen stood up, and slowly made her way to the dead otter in the center of the clearing. She gave it a sniff, her nose wrinkling at the stench of blood and stream water. The queen stared at the dead beast, the pain in her shoulder, a dull thud compared to how it had been. They had done it. ThunderClan was safe and those waters were no longer infested.
