His name was being called. Wolfpaw's heart sank as he heard it. Since his demotion, his life felt like a walking nightmare. The tripod dragged themself into the clearing, mind hazy. Everything reminded him of his failure. His heart practically stopped when he saw who was standing in front of him

Bumblestar.

She was alive. Part of him wanted to burst out in excitement, happy she was standing. The other wanted to turn around and run away. His breath got caught in his throat as he continued dragging his three paws forward, large frame shaking. He shrunk down, feeling helpless as he uttered the words out of his throat.

"M-M here. m-m s-sorry."
