Reddove
He, Him\Warrior\26 moons\Thunderclan
"Just believe in myself won't rely on others."

Reddove wasn't expecting another warrior to turn up so quickly, their own voice filling the lack of Flintclaw’s words.
Reddove recognized the she-cat… Wasn't she the cat who got caught in the medicine den at the worst time possible? He blinked at her in greeting, not exactly sure how to go about it rather than his usual blunt nature. He'd spoken to her only briefly, so he honestly didn't know much about her.
The same could be said about Flintclaw, but him being actively out of the medicine den when he first bothered to interact with him only led large paws stumbling downhill.
He was aware the change was drastic, but Reddove was used to it by now. Drastic change was his middle name, even if it hadn't gotten better to deal with. All he cared about was the clan and its own survival. No matter who was leading it or at what time, if something good came from it, something honorable, then Reddove could care less about who did what in his clan.
Obviously prior knowledge and actual action was better than any ‘devotion’, but even being just a footnote was enough. Reddove truly believed a simple act could cause a sea of change, that's what made the little things so important. He wasn't working for himself, he was working for others. But who exactly depends on who they care for? No sane person.
That's why Flintclaw being out of the medicine den peeved him so much. He didn't know much about medicines or its nuances, but he could bet all his toes that Flintclaw knew just as much. Aka, nothing. Would Reddove have refused medicine if he felt he needed too? Yes, but Flintclaw wasn't Reddove, now was he?
Who he was, however— deputy?
Wow, second shock of the night, they really had to stop doing that. What's next? At this point he was anticipating a curve ball.
The russet tabby turned his head, eyes falling onto Flintclaw. The cat was an absolute nuisance, but if Spiderthroat saw something in him, Reddove had no reason not to. And that didn't mean he'd start to go easy on him, if anything he'd only get worse. It's not that Reddove was out to get him, but this was his home he was dealing with. If Flintclaw accepted the position, they'd have to love this mess just as much as Reddove did. Well, love was an overstatement… ish. More like a love-hate if anything.
He could've sworn there was something confining him here. He could've been elsewhere, but his heart was tied to the floor.
What a heck of a blessing, yeah?
So, there it was. A shiny new deputy swallowed by tight air and expectations. Reddove blinked before he opened his mouth and yowled. "Flintclaw! Flintclaw!" As ceremony commanded, he was one to comply.

(Sorry, didn't proof read! I also don't have my glasses on, which probably made it worse. Also, everyone, go to sleep)
