(Here's a note! I mightttt have his header age wrong...) Reddove rolled back his shoulders. "Good to hear." He said flatly, offering a smile that was more fang than teeth. He was happy, just not the best at showing it. He then crouched downwards, figuring there was no reason to stop what he'd started. Just talking about battle made him grin. It was a sense of victory that wasn't exactly easy to achieve, but that made it more rewarding.
"When you hunt, you have to crouch a certain way." He explained, reaching a paw upwards and pushing Mantispaw down by her head. "Tense your haunches, lower your ears and tail. Make sure you know where the wind is blowing. Prey are about the dumbest creatures you'll ever meet, but they have heightened senses. Stay down wind or make sure your scent isn't drifting towards them."
His tinted gaze flicked over to her. "That includes ambush attacks." Cats could be tricked just as easily. He had faint memories of being dog piled by his siblings, no doubt they'd used that tactic on him. "C'mon, try it."

Mantispaw
Mantispaw almost flinched when he raised his paw. But she didn't. Thank starclan. Then she'd be embarrassed. But she let him push her head down. She lowered her ears and tail. And then her haunches tensed.
"Okay!" She got ready to jump. She was guessing he wanted her to ambush him. Or should she like jump next to him? "I'm gonna jump next to you, if that's alright! I can act like a cat is there."
She started to creep up, and then leapt into the air. She landed onto the spot she aimed for. "I can try to ambush you next!"
