Now Honeypaw had to say, he probably held the world record for being the most lazy and untrained apprentice for his age. It was a surprise no one had dragged him to the borders and kicked him out yet. He supposed it must have to do with the fact that the higranks were much too busy with the recent otter problems to bother with an apprentice wasting air. Honey had no clue when exactly he'd began this sleep, eat and sleep some more cycle. Maybe when he'd been a kit but that was some time ago. Surely he hadn't been that useless all this time??

hmm maybe he had been a loitering pest, he try to be better. Wait hadn't he told himself this before? Deja Vu. Well he wasn't going to be a useless slug any longer!

The torbie tom rose to his paw, old moss and dust clinging to his fur like it had grown part of him while he'd been sleeping. The diluted torbie exited the den, recoiling at the sunlight outside something he wasn't used to anymore. He usually only came outside in the evening or at night just to get some food and then return to his nest- oh yeah um. Not a good habit. He's procrastinating actually returning to the land of the living. At this rate he may never get the chance. One more try. One more try. Squinting against the bright light of the clearing. Honeypaw walked a bit further until his determination to do something dwindled. Which was almost immediately.

”mhm, no. Nap” he grumbled and flopped down with no regard. Curling his tail around his paws and taking a nap- which at this point he definitely did need.

❀˚₊ now now, today was quite the fine day. The sky was clear and the sun's rays bathed the clearing with nothing in its path, not a cloud in sight. There was a slight breeze that tugged at her fur bringing in the scent of prey from the territory beyond the camp's walls. What a good day today would be! Definitely great for hunting. Though she was quite fond of the heat that came with Greenleaf, she much preferred it over the cold seasons. When stepping outside was more of a chore than a pleasure.

❀˚₊ the brown and white she cat glanced around the clearing in search for some company, she wanted to leave camp and you could not do that alone. Soft blue eyes landed on an apprentice lying slumped near the edge of the clearing napping. Deersneeze tilted her head in curiosity. This was one of spring's kits if she was mistaken, she would have expected the former medicine cats kits to be more like her when she was young but this one seemed quite deprived of life he might as well be one of the plants. His fur was a tangled mess and by the looks of him he either got too little or too much sleep.

❀˚₊ “Why hello there love, are you okay? You seem a bit woozy.” she spoke in a concerned tone, addressing the apprentice as she approached him. Though today wasn't particularly that hot she was well aware of cats often getting sick due to the heat in Greenleaf. Could this possibly be the case with this apprentice. There was no harm in checking up on your clanmates after all.
