Pineblossom's ears perked at her name. Another apprentice? Oh, and another one of Spider-leader's kiddos. The queen searched for Cricketpaw, landing on the multicolored black and tan tom. The walked over, her fluffy pelt ruffling in the slight breeze. It felt remarkable, considering the excessive heat. The queen met the apprentices gaze, dipping her head and touching noses with the tom. "Hello Cricketpaw," she purred.

She sat beside the tom, and turned to look back at Spider-leader. She was honored that he had assigned another one of his kits to her. Cicadapaw was a joy to train, and she hoped Cricketpaw would be the same.
